In our exhilarating 2023 season, we made a triumphant return to the vibrant world of in-person events! We unleashed a whirlwind of creativity with four captivating staged readings and a thrilling 24-hour play festival that left audiences on the edge of their seats.

Our collaboration extended far and wide, as we teamed up with over 100 talented artists across nine unique spaces. Together, we breathed life into ten new plays, captivating the hearts of 274 enthusiastic audience members. It was a true celebration of artistic expression, and we made sure every artist received their well-deserved recognition through our commitment to fair compensation.

But our creative endeavors didn't stop there! Our Artistic Director, the incredible Hannah Ii-Epstein, showcased her handmade lei at the Argyle Night Market. These stunning creations weren't just beautiful; they were also a labor of love, helping us raise essential funds for our upcoming season.

In the spirit of well-being, we brought the community together with self-care classes. In the ornate and elegant spaces at Berger Park Cultural Center, over 30 individuals found solace and revitalization in our yoga and zumba sessions. It was a harmonious blend of physical exploration and artistic rejuvenation in the heart of our partnership park.

As staunch supporters of the arts, we proudly sponsored BearCat Productions in the 48 Hour Film Project - Chicago. The result? A captivating short film titled "Mom & Pop Shop" that has earned its place in Chicago's prestigious Best Of 48 Awards, scheduled for December 3rd. Our commitment to fostering creativity and community engagement knows no bounds, and we're thrilled to continue this journey into the next season and beyond!
