Mike Shaw

(Managing Director) 

Mike (he/him) is excited to serve as Managing Director for Nothing Without a Company and to work with this passionate group of artists. Mike also serves on the Steering Committee of the Chicago Cultural Accessibility Consortium (CCAC), a volunteer run group with a mission to empower Chicago's cultural spaces to become more accessible to visitors with disabilities and he also works as a stand-in and background actor for television and film. Prior to Nothing Without a Company, Mike worked as the Box Office & Sales Manager for Writers Theatre for 5 years. Before that, Mike worked for the Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science, a regional cultural center located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, (where Mike grew up) where he held a number of positions during the more than 10 years that he spent there before moving to Chicago in 2011.
