Manuela Alvarez Marquez

Manuela Alvarez Marquez (she/her) joined NWaC’s Junior Board in 2026. She is a Chicago-based writer, dramaturg, and performer originally from Bogotá, Colombia. She graduated with her BA in Musical Theatre from Columbia College Chicago in 2024, and has collaborated with Sandbox Theatre, Lazy Susan Theatre Company, Stop Motion Lab, Meat Machine Theatre, and Tellin’ Tales Theatre. When she’s not onstage, Manuela is a teaching artist with Porchlight Music Theatre. She also works with other performing arts nonprofits, such as The People’s Music School, and is thrilled to be joining the team at Nothing Without a Company as a Junior Board Member!
