Kekulalani Jasmine Keauli’i
Kekulalani Jasmine Keauli’i (she/her/hers) was born and raised on the island O’ahu and is a proud kanaka maoli and sansei person. She is a creative writer, organizer, and graduate from the University of Illinois - Chicago with a B.A. in Global Asian Studies and English with concentrations in Professional Writing and Creative Fictional Writing. Kekulalani developed student outreach efforts for Pacific Islanders at UIC from 2022-2025 and founded the Pacific Islander Think Tank (PITT), the first student-led committee dedicated to protecting the growth of the Pacific Islander community. She presented on the development of PITT at the national Asian Pacific Americans in Higher Education conference in April 2025. Kekulalani is excited to serve as a Junior Board Member for NWaC’s 2025-2026 cohort.
